The sectors to drive Liverpool economic growth (questions 7 and 8)

Two sectors dominate the views of business as to how to drive Liverpool’s economic growth, with over 75% of respondents identifying tourism and property development and construction as the areas with most potential to grow.

The financial and professional services came last realising support from just 3% of the business population.

Attracting these commercial sectors and other interests to Liverpool requires money being pumped into development. In particular, the top priority for development should be the transport infrastructure according to our survey.
