‘Downtown ready to Get The Party Started’

Downtown Liverpool In Business will be formally launched on Monday 10 th May – with TWO celebration parties organised to commemorate the occasion.

Chairman of DLIB Frank McKenna explained:

“We had planned to have a single launch event at the Sapporo restaurant on Duke Street. However, such was the demand for places, we have arranged an ‘ after party’ at Colin’s Bridewell, to accommodate as many people as possible. Even so, I am afraid we have been unable to cater for everyone who expressed a wish to attend. Almost 500 people registered an interest, which for a Monday night event is incredible.

“The support we have received from local businesses has been tremendous. This demonstrates the appetite the Private Sector in the City has to get involved and engaged in the discussion and debate about Liverpool’s future.”

The launch party will take place at Sapporo restaurant, 6.30 p.m. – 8.30 p.m. with the ‘after party’ at Colin’s Bridewell beginning at 9.00 p.m.
