Downtown Liverpool Chairman Frank McKenna will host a brand new weekly business programme on City Talk 105.9FM, starting this Sunday 10th January.

‘City Talks Business with Frank McKenna’ will be broadcast on Sunday mornings, 7am-8am; and Sunday evenings, 8pm-9pm.

This week, Frank will be discussing the business of Football, with the Chief Executive of Everton Football Club, Robert Elstone; Professor Tom Cannon and the Editor of Northwest business magazine Insider, Michael Taylor.

The Manchester office of PR agency Paver Smith has secured three new client wins totalling £110,000 in annualised income. The agency, headquartered in Liverpool, has been retained by car dealer webuyanycar.com, leadership business First 100 and private dental trainer Tipton Training. “Once again we’ve demonstrated our ability to service clients from very diverse sectors, a factor that has been a considerable protection in a tough market,” said director Denise Mullen.

Accountancy firm Grant Thornton has announced a trio of major new client wins for its Liverpool office. The firm has won the audit and tax services for privately owned logistics company Brit European, vehicle crash repair group Howard Basford and food wholesaler DBC Foodservice.
