Downtown Liverpool Chairman Frank McKenna will host a brand new weekly business programme on City Talk 105.9FM, starting this Sunday 10th January.

‘City Talks Business with Frank McKenna’ will be broadcast on Sunday mornings, 7am-8am; and Sunday evenings, 8pm-9pm.

This week, Frank will be discussing the business of Football, with the Chief Executive of Everton Football Club, Robert Elstone; Professor Tom Cannon and the Editor of Northwest business magazine Insider, Michael Taylor.

Accountancy firm Grant Thornton has announced a trio of major new client wins for its Liverpool office. The firm has won the audit and tax services for privately owned logistics company Brit European, vehicle crash repair group Howard Basford and food wholesaler DBC Foodservice. Office managing partner and tax specialist Neil Sturmey said: “It has been a hard year for businesses across the city, and we are pleased that in spite of this, we are still attracting such high-profile clients.”
