HENSHAW RESIGNS

Sir David Henshaw has resigned as Chief Executive of Liverpool City Council.

The news comes following a year of controversy, with Henshaw rumoured to be at loggerheads with the political leadership of the council.

DLIB Chairman Frank McKenna welcomed the news.

“This departure provides Liverpool with an opportunity for a fresh start. I hope the new council leadership will see this as a chance to re-engage with the city’s private sector.”
