TWO CHEERS FOR NEW LEADER

An interesting, if hardly inspiring event was organised this month by DLIB members Paver Downes and City Residential. ‘Question Time’ with the recently appointed new city council Leader Warren Bradley.

Responding to a question, Cllr. Bradley insisted that the city council does not and will not have a ‘tall buildings policy’. Can someone inform the planners please?

Less encouraging were Cllr. Bradley’s attacks on potential inward investors such as Maro Developments and Tesco. Was he articulating these views in his capacity of ‘business champion’ – a title he accepted at the launch of Liverpool’s city growth strategy? (See Frankly Speaking).
