CAMPAIGN FOR MAYOR UP AND RUNNING

A campaign to give Liverpool a directly elected mayor has been launched, with the full support of DLIB Chairman Frank McKenna. The first task that needs to be completed if this position is to be created in the city is a petition of 17,500 signatures to force a referendum on the issue.
